Okay I know anot one person, not even one that likes this stuff.. Mark Huffler, Butterfly Balcher, Glen Kilbrook, Stevey Rey Vawn, Ub40, Jack Jonson, etc. The Pretenders, and I'm not just talking t the hits either... BB King. I've really been getting into AAA which includes blues, raygay, and deeper cuts from well known as well as local artests. Anyone listen to this stuff? Stuff that would be f found on 1071thepeak.com or xpn.org. Its just different. I can't be the only one... It just seems Like I listen to so manyh types of music, and not one person I know that listens to as many types. John

You're not the only one, John!

Butterfly Boucher is an interesting new artist. I don't yet have her new disc, but may get it. Is on my list. Did you say Mark Knopfler? I've listened to him for years. Not a huge SRV fan, but, I know his stuff. Jack Johnson, G-Love & Special Sauce, UB 40, and Jason Mraz are often heard in my background music.

I like Jack Johnson, he's pretty talented! My favorite is Bubble Toes. Caitlin

Not familiar with some of those names, but I do like the AAA format in general if I'm to listen to any commercial radio format. I like any station that'll play stuff nobody else will touch for being atypical and that might dare to play deeper album tracks. I'm not much into UB-40, though, and prefer the more classic reggae sounds like Marley or Toots or that kind of thing, but I'm afraid my local AAA station won't play much but the more familiar Marley cuts. And I do ahve a taste for blues guitar.

Mark Knopfler's begins to sound very samey after a while so I haven't bothered with him for years.M.K/ Dire Straits it's so hard to differentiate.

Guess I just like Dire Straits:).

And, Yah, I hate how, of a 10-15-track CD, the mainstream stations will only play one or two. How's one supposed to decide whether to buy based on one or (if you're lucky), two cuts?
